wine for Jesus

something awesome to think about.

when talking with my british history, doctorate pursuing friend, today, i began asking her questions about the british view of a royal family rule, vs. what we have in america. i know, for me, this has greatly influenced my view on Christ being my ‘king’ or ‘lord’.

she explained to me, as best she could, the fierce loyalty that enlgishmen and women have towards their rulers. people do things just because the king or queen asks them to. their devotion runs incredibly deep, as does the honor and respect for authority.

my friend said, “there’s something about the throne that begs amazement.”

wow.

think about that. in context of the truth that Jesus is Lord.

it kind of blows your mind, huh?
