the october gathering: it’s like birds of a feather, man.
october came and is not halfway out the door. i can’t believe it!
our october gathering was held at the dog and duck (or as i like to say, the ‘bark and quack’) on 17th and guadalupe. great stuff.
now, this also happened to be the night of the first presidential debtate, but a few did make it out to chat.
this week we dialogued across a great specturm. politics to cookies, grandmothers to spiritual meditation. it’s neat, i can just sense the community God is forming through this meeting. they say that birds of a feather flock together, and i can not think of a better way to describe this gathering. it’s one of the most relaxed, free environments i’ve ever been a part of and i know the dynamic is wholly attributed to the people that make it up. we’ve really got a unique flavor cooking.
a shoutout is indeed in order, to all the group recruitment going on. we now have 32 members. wow!
i shall post again, for you, next week with the location of our november gathering, and perhaps a few questions that will be up for discussion.
